Malignant Mammary Tumor
Treatment- Surgery and Chemotherapy
Birdie was found as a stray and rescued by Desert Labrador Retriever Rescue. This senior girl had multiple tumors and was diagnosed with mammary cancer. Surgery was performed to remove the tumors, and chemo therapy and Birdie responded well to treatment. Unfortunately, more tumors appeared and the cancer spread quickly to her lymph nodes.
Birdie lived comfortably at her foster home throughout her treatment and was smothered with love, treats, toys and compassion. Sadly, Birdie succumbed to her cancer several months after surgery.
