It may sound like a conceit, but we have the best dog there could ever be. Deucalion Prometheus Price – Dekker – is as close to perfection as a living creature can get. All those charming stereotypes about golden retrievers? He is that with none of the bad. Even when diagnosed with melanoma, this noble beast took it in stride remaining happy and loving. Zeus Oncology Fund stepped in and helped us to get Dekker radiation therapy to try and ruff up his cancer. But this tumor is tenacious, and has infiltrated his lungs. The opportunity afforded by the grant from the ZOF has helped us to make Dekker’s time more comfortable, and for that we are eternally grateful.
